Anyway, this is my first day back in my scraproom after having my daughter, son-in-law and their two sweet baby girls for the weekend. They left Sunday night but we kept 4 year old Faith til Wednesday to enjoy her a little longer and let me tell you...I forgot how 4 year olds can wear you out!! If she wasn't jumping from thing to thing activity-wise she was talking 90 to nothing all day. I loved having her stay with me and we did fun, fun things but I was hurting when we dropped her off (after a 2 1/2 hour drive) at her house. And not just my body hurt, my brain hurt. I haven't had to think that fast in years!! hahaha Praise the Lord for giving me strength as well as presence of mind.
I wanted to craft sooner but my carpal tunnel has been bothering me so bad, I haven't been able to do much crafting.
Finally, today I couldn't take it any longer...new stamps were begging to be used!!
While waiting to feel better, I began reading a really good book called "Sitting at the feet of Rabbi Jesus". It's written by two Christian women that have done a lot of research on what it was really like to follow Jesus back in his day. What did his words and actions mean in the original Hebrew? What were the customs of that time? I have really enjoyed understanding more of what that was like. Words had very intent meanings, they weren't thrown around like we speak today. I keep wishing I'd been in his physical presence after reading through the pages of this book!
Okay, that's all from me. Time to fix dinner.
Thanks for stopping by!
