My daughter texted me this morning asking if I could make her a few Easter cards that said "He is Risen" that she could give to her coworkers. She likes very simple cards which is lucky for me since I do that better than anything else!
Making cards today was just what I needed after our long long day yesterday! We drove 5 hours to Austin (and back in one day) for my 17 yr. old nephew's funeral. So hard but it was so good to see family and support them as they go through this terrible loss. Travis was a most amazing young man. He had cerebral palsy but was such a joy, always smiling, always happy. We who are left behind grieve for missing him but he is experiencing the joy of being in the presence of the Lord! So we grieve for us but rejoice for him!!
