Love, love, love you!

Have you ever gotten inspiration for a card from your stamp scratch sheet? As I was cleaning up the other night I saw my work table and there on that surface was a great idea (in my mind anyway) for a card...here it is

I'm excited! My brain was actually working!! LOL. Now that may not be big news to you but for me since "artistic" is something I've never been accused of, having an inspired moment is awesome! None of those stamps were actually stamped to go together initially, though the two I used on the card are from the same set, I was just trying ink colors and stamps.

I love when things come together so easily. My desire was to keep it CAS and just use one layer but for some reason my one layer cards don't always turn out so I resorted to stamping on another layer and popping it up. I did try different color card bases but to me they just seemed to take away from the stamping.

In the end I think this accomplishes exactly what I had in mind in the first place. I'm happy:)

Okay, now I'm off to read up on all the amendments we're voting on tomorrow. I'm praying heavily for direction for our country. I believe in our country and our godly heritage. I believe we should not stand by and let our country sink into ruin and despair. I believe we do still have a voice and we should exercise it according to the law. I won't lie, we do need some miracles but still I believe firmly that God is in control and my trust is Him no matter how it goes.
